Yesterday, we reported that Sin Cara was in Birmingham, Alabama to take care of an injury.
Today he revealed that he underwent knee surgery and the procedure was performed by Dr. Jeffrey Dugas, the doctor that has performed dozens of surgeries on WWE Superstars in the past.
Sin Cara noted that there were some minor things done to his knee to get things working properly and it was something he needed to get done because his body was telling him that it was time. There’s no word on when he will be back in action.

In other injury news, we haven’t heard much about the injury suffered to Tye Dillinger on Sunday night but he did not wrestle at the live event on Monday night or on Tuesday night’s Smackdown Live show.
For those of you that missed it, his match with Shelton Benjamin on Sunday was stopped early after Dillinger landed hard on a dive through the ropes. Fans in attendance said that it looked like he hit the floor hard and that is when the referee stopped the match.
We’ll post updates on Sin Cara and Dillinger when they are available.
