As noted earlier, two WWE stars are now eligible to return to action after serving 30-day suspensions.
The least likely of the two was Primo Colon but Bobby Roode did return on this week’s show. Roode was taken out by Roman Reigns last month to cover for Roode’s suspension.
On this week’s show, The Usos took on King Corbin and Dolph Ziggler in the main event but the match was ruled a DQ when Roode returned to get revenge on Reigns and that included a spinebuster on the announcer’s table. That was followed up by Ziggler delivering an elbow onto Reigns through the table.
This story is building towards Baron Corbin taking on Roman Reigns at the Royal Rumble. Both men will wrestle twice on that show because they have both entered the Men’s Rumble match.
Based on how the storyline is playing out, it also looks like WWE is building to The Usos vs. Roode and Ziggler on a future show and possibly for the Rumble pay-per-view.
