Mustafa Ali has yet to benefit from the regime change in WWE, with Triple H taking over creative from Vince McMahon as he’s been pushed the same way from when the former WWE Chairman was in charge.
Ali was put on the sidelines last November following a heated argument with McMahon but was brought back to television in April. Ali hasn’t done much since returning on Raw, but he has been praised for his matches on WWE Main Event.
A fan commented on a recent post that Ali shared where he showed off footage of himself training in the ring. The fan wrote, “I will never understand why in the world WWE won’t go all in on Mustafa Ali. He is fantastic at promos, and has the in-ring talent to match …”
Ali responded by writing, “I know why. and I’ll knock that shit down too.” Ali hasn’t added any follow-up to this tweet.
His last Raw appearance was on August 15th, when he lost a tag team match. His television record is 9-12 this year. Last month, Ali revealed that WWE had plans at one point for him to use Hulk Hogan’s theme music.
