After weeks of negotiations, MVP has announced that he has signed a multi-year deal with WWE.
MVP returned to the company in January for a guest spot in this year’s Men’s Royal Rumble and he was brought back the next night for Raw.
At the time, it was thought that he was only back for a few shows but he was brought back for a backstage role. MVP is no longer working in a backstage capacity but, as seen below, he will remain as an on-air performer at least for a few more years.
MVP has been leading The Hurt Business with Bobby Lashley and Shelton Benjamin. At one point, there were plans for them to do a reboot of the Nation of Domination but those plans were scrapped.
MVP posted the following on Instagram:
“Tonight, I’m drinking “the good stuff”. Yamazaki 18 from @suntorywhisky is the spirit of choice. I have come to terms with @wwe on a multi year deal. MVP is in #thehurtbusiness for the foreseeable future! Kampai! 🥃
NOW… it’s official!”
