WWE tells NXT wrestlers not to tweet or call out Raw or SmackDown stars

In a follow-up story on the verbal altercation between Brock Lesnar and Matt Riddle, PWInsider noted that there was a reference to the altercation during a media class on Tuesday at the WWE Performance Center.

WWE told wrestlers not to tweet or call out talents from Raw or SmackDown without their knowledge. When that was said, there was reportedly a laugh from the NXT talents in attendance.

As noted earlier, Lesnar reportedly told Riddle to knock it off with the trash talking on social media because he has no plans to work with him, ever.

Lesnar reportedly saw Riddle walking backstage and then grabbed his shoulder to get his attention. Lesnar reportedly said, “Kid, you might as well stop saying my name and tagging me in sh*t because you and I will never work together. Ever.”

Riddle has been vocal on social media about wanting a WrestleMania match with Lesnar. It doesn’t look like that will happen this year or ever. Riddle has also been calling out Bill Goldberg for years. Goldberg didn’t take kindly to Riddle’s bait attempts and blocked him on Twitter several months ago.

As noted earlier, Lesnar is not the only WWE star who has had issues with Riddle. The NXT locker room doesn’t seem to fond of him either. Click here for more on that story.
