WWE recently held a few sets of TV tapings for the NXT UK brand. WWE has already confirmed that new episodes of the weekly TV show would air starting on September 17th.
The company has been holding training sessions and taping shows in an empty arena setting at the BT Sport studio.
Alex McCarthy of TalkSport reported on Friday that for these sets of TV tapings, WWE had NXT UK talent be in a bubble for three weeks in London ahead of the shows.
This is different from what WWE did has done with its main roster and NXT shows. For a few months during the COVID-19 pandemic, WWE was just doing temperature checks.
Then after there were a few people who tested positive for the virus, they started doing testing, which revealed that several people had the virus, for every taping. You can see McCarthy’s report here:
“Interesting note. NXT UK talent were in a three-week bubble in London leading up to and during the newest tapings. Many of the talents talked to me about how diligent WWE have been in making things safe for them.”
