Grayson Waller looks to have a bright future in WWE, as Triple H is reportedly high on the NXT star. Waller could potentially follow in the footsteps of Kevin Owens, at least in the way he is introduced on the main roster.
Owens interrupted John Cena on an episode of WWE Raw while still NXT Champion in 2015 and laid out the then-United States Champion.
WrestleVotes told GiveMeSport, WWE sees a lot of potential in Waller, and they will try to do something serious with him.
“WWE really likes Grayson Waller and really see something in him. He may stay down in NXT, just so they can try to figure out something big for him, like Kevin Owens coming in and beating John Cena.
They like him a lot, so that’s one guy that they’re gonna try to do something serious with.”
Waller had a taste of the main roster last December when he made his Raw debut while feuding with AJ Styles.
Waller lost to Apollo Crews in a casket match at Halloween Havoc and beat R-Truth via referee stoppage due to R-Truth suffering a serious injury on this past Tuesday’s NXT.
