The rumored location for WrestleMania 35 has been confirmed. NJ.com was able to confirm with two sources that WWE will make the announcement on Friday and MetLife Stadium will host the event. The rumored date is April 7, 2019.
WWE spokesman Adam Hopkins is not confirming the news but all of this makes sense because there will be a big announcement taking place at MetLife Stadium on Friday and the big buzz is that it’s WWE-related.
New Jersery Lt. Gov. Sheila Oliver, New York Giants President John Mara and New York Jets President Neil Gat will be at the press conference alongside WWE personnel. It’s not clear yet where WWE will hold the other WrestleMania week events such as Axxess, NXT Takeover, Hall Of Fame, Raw and Smackdown but they have the Meadowlands Arena as an option. In 2013, the WWE Hall Of Fame ceremony was held at Madison Square Garden and Raw was held at the IZOD Center.
This would be WWE’s fourth WrestleMania in the state following WrestleMania IV, V and 29.
