WWE WrestleMania 42 Results: Rhea Ripley Wins Women’s Title

WWE Women’s Champion Jade Cargill vs. Rhea Ripley took place at the WWE WrestleMania 42 – Night 2 from Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, Nevada.

They exchanged moves right out of the gate until Rhea drop kicked her out of the ring. Jade targeted the right arm of Rhea then hit her with a suplex for 2. Moments later, Rhea fought back with strikes then so did Jade. It turned into a fight. Rhea picked her up and hit a face buster for 2. Rhea went for her finisher, but Jade powered out. Rhea avoided a spear and hit a superkick then a spinebuster for 2. Jade went for her finisher, but Rhea rolled through for 2. Rhea with a hurricanrona then a running knee. Michin got on the apron to distract the referee. B-Fab saved Jade from razor’s edge. Rhea missed a spear and ate the ring post. As Jade distracted the referee, Michin kicked Rhea in the face. Jade with the sand storm for 2. IYO SKY ran out to the ring to make the save for Rhea to take out B-Fab and Michin. This distracted Jade and allowed Rhea to go for her finisher, but Jade reversed and hit a big boot. Jade went for her finisher, but Rhea countered with the rip tide for the win.

Winner: Ripley.
