NXT TV spoilers taped on 1/4/18: Takeover: Philadelphia matches are set

WWE taped several episodes of NXT TV at Center Stage in Atlanta, GA on Thursday night.

Candice LeRae defeated Vanessa Borne. LeRae is close to signing a WWE deal.

Kassius Ohno defeated Raul Mendoza.

Shayna Baszler defeated Dakota Kai. This was basically a squash to put Baszler over a huge threat. Baszler continued attacking her until Ember Moon ran down to make the save.

Lars Sullivan defeated Lio Rush and then issued a challenge to Killian Dane.

The Undisputed Era attacked SAnitY backstage. Undisputed Era walked out to talk about what they just did. Security had to stop Nikki Cross from running out.

Kyle O’Reilly and Bobby Fish retained their tag team titles against Roderick Strong and Aleister Black because Adam Cole was in the crowd and Black chased after him.

William Regal announced that Adam Cole vs. Aleister Black at Takeover: Philadephia would be an Extreme Rules match.

Andrade Cien Almas defeated Kassius Ohno.

Tino Sabatelli and Riddick Moss defeated Heavy Machinery.

Lacey Evans defeated Aliyah. Evans then grabbed the mic and said that the women of NXT do not have class. Evans ran off when Shayna Baszler came into the ring. Baszler choked Aliyah until Ember Moon ran down to make the save.

Backstage, Zelina Vega said that she wanted Regal to make next week’s match between Johnny Gargano and Velveteen Dream a #1 contenders match. Regal denied the request.

Roderick Strong defeated Fabian Aichner. Strong challenged Lars Sullivan after the match.

Gargano came out and said that he would put his number 1 contender status up next week to prove that his previous win was not a fluke.

Authors of Pain defeated the Street Profits.

No Way Jose defeated Cezar Bononi

Bianca Belair defeated independent wrestler Luscious Latasha

Authors of Pain squashed two enhancement talents before the match was started.

Johnny Gargano defeated Velveteen Dream so he is still the number 1 contender and will still go on to challenge Andrade Cien Almas at Takeover. The Gargano vs. Dream match was said to be incredible.
