The world of pro wrestling is full of crazy events and surprises and the Royal Rumble is certainly a great time for those kinds of things to go down. WWE also likes to snatch up as much of the world’s top talent as possible and all signs point to the fact that Ricochet is WWE bound sooner than later.
It’s been reported that it’s only a matter of time before Ricochet shows up in WWE, therefore, people have been looking for his appearence in WWE but if Vince McMahon and Company are smart about it, they need to make his debut in WWE mean something.
The Royal Rumble match would be a perfect time for Ricochet to show up even if he isn’t booked to win the match. He could still come in at an early spot, like #3 for instance which is the same spot AJ Styles made his WWE debut in to make a big splash upon finally arriving to WWE .
Dave Meltzer was recently questioned as to if Ricochet has any shot of appearing at the Royal Rumble and his answer seemed to be quite specific. The power is all up to WWE creative at this point because the general belief is he’s pretty much a shoo-in for a contract.
Therefore, only time will tell when Ricochet comes into WWE. But if he was going to jump straight to the main roster like he really does deserve, there doesn’t seem to be any better time than the Royal Rumble match.
