Matt Hardy and Impact Wrestling’s Ed Nordholm have buried the hatchet

The old saying in wrestling is “never say never” and that is the case with Matt Hardy and Impact Wrestling President Ed Nordholm. Both men have officially buried the hatchet and the proof can be seen on Hardy’s Twitter account. Yes, both men took a photo together and it’s clear that all of the bad blood is behind them.

Things have been good between both sides when an agreement was worked out last month to allow Hardy to use his “Broken” character in WWE. He is “Woken” right now because that allows WWE to use the “Woken” likeness for merchandise.

So, what does this all mean? If Hardy leaves WWE (I want to be clear that there are no hints of that happening anytime soon) then you would have to assume that this could open the door for a Hardy return to Impact Wrestling at some point. It’s great to see everyone getting along. Quite frankly, this is good for Impact Wrestling as they look to turn the company around this year. The negative press was not good for them in 2017 but hopefully, things are mostly positive this year.

This appears to be part of Impact’s efforts to repair bridges burned with people that they’ve done business with in the past. The company has also been actively trying to repair their relationships with New Japan Pro Wrestling and Ring Of Honor.
