Jim Ross comments on if he and Jerry Lawler were sleeping at the Manhattan Center during Raw 25

Raw 25 is in the books and whether you liked the show or not might depend on which building you bought a ticket for if you were in attendance. While the Barclays Center got a great show highlighted by an Intercontinental Title match, some fans in the Manhattan Center were less than pleased with the event they paid for.

During much of the first hour during Raw, the Manhattan Center crowd was left to watch events unfold on television screens then they received a strange and short Undertaker promo only to have the action go back to Brooklyn.

Some people in the Manhattan Center commented about how bored they were and when a picture of Jim Ross and Jerry “The King” Lawler where they appear to be sleeping went viral it looked like WWE couldn’t even keep their commentary team awake.

But although a picture might be worth 1,000 words sometimes it can be misinterpreted completely. Putting all those “sleepy-time” Z’s above their heads didn’t help things either.

Jim Ross was quick to squash reports that the WWE Hall Of Fame announce team was sleeping. He said it was absurd to suggest such an idea and you have to believe Good ‘ole JR. After all, Raw 25 was a big event so there was no time to be sleeping through it even if all they could do was sit there and wait for the action to come back to the Manhattan Center.
