WWE Superstar Samir Singh announced on Instagram that he is out of action because of a torn ACL. His post location shows that he is in Birmingham, Alabama so it’s likely that the surgery was performed by famous surgeon Dr. James Andrew.
He doesn’t mention when the injury occurred but I believe he was injured last week when he rolled his ankle.
We have yet to hear an official timeframe but a torn ACL could mean that he would be out of action for 6 to 9 months.
Here is a video of when the injury occurred:

Singh wrote the following:
“Last week I tore my ACL and it goes without saying that this past week has been very emotional. The more I think about it, the less it makes sense. All I know is that God is the sovereign of my life and that everything that comes to pass is his blessing. I thank you all for the continued love and support. I can’t wait to be back.”
