After weeks of rumors and speculation, it looks like the official announcement from Vince McMahon about the relaunch of his football league is coming.
McMahon’s Alpha Entertainment, LLC has launched on Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube. They have also launched a website. The belief is that the league will launch in 2010.
The first talk about the relaunch was during the final minutes of ESPN’s 30 for 30 special that covered the quick rise and fall of the league in 2001. McMahon and Dick Eberson talked about potentially getting back into football again and possibly working with Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones. Jones and McMahon are friends and have done business in the past, most notably for WrestleMania 32 in Dallas.
