A huge match is set for New Japan Pro Wrestling’s 46th anniversary show. Yes, Kazuchika Okada issued the challenge and it has been accepted by Will Ospreay. Okada said that there’s been a history of Heavyweight Champions facing Junior Heavyweight Champions. Neither title will be on the line.
This is seen as a dream match by many fans but it’s already happened before when Okada defeated Ospreay at a RevPro show in 2015.

The NJPW 46th anniversary show will take place on March 6th and will air live on New Japan World at 5 am eastern. Don Callis and Kevin Kelly will be there to provide English commentary. The show will emanate from the Ota Ward Gymnasium in Tokyo.
