Two WWE stars out until the end of the year, Donovan Dijak raises money for mass shooting victims

Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter has a minor update on Tamina, who is out of action because of a torn rotator cuff. As we noted earlier this week, she was working hurt but she wanted to work the Royal Rumble pay-per-view before getting surgery. The word on her recovery is that she’ll be back sometime in September or November.

The link for Donovan Dijak’s GoFundMe is up here. The account was created to help out the people affected by the horrible mass shooting in Parkland, FL.

The campaign description reads: “Hi everyone. My name is Chris Dijak and I’m a sports entertainer for the NXT brand of WWE. I’ve decided to raise money for the families and victims of the horrible tragedy today in Parkland, FL. Myself and my family recently moved down to Florida, and NXT has even run shows recently in nearby Coral Springs, so these events are especially devastating. I’ve run many of these fundraisers in the past, so you can ask around or research my track record if you have any hesitation. I will thoroughly research appropriate charities when they are developed, and I will make sure that 100% of the net proceeds from this fundraiser are directly contributed. Please, help us show the world how strong the professional wrestling community is. Let’s do our best to help out our fellow humans in heir time of need. Thanks everyone.”

Samir Singh continues to rehab his torn ACL. He’s been out of action since January and is not due back in action until the end of the year. In his latest post, he uploaded a video of himself learning to walk again.

Sean Waltman wrote on Twitter that he is related to one of the school shooting victims. Gina Montalto is the daugher of his mother’s niece.
