JBL recently stirred up a bit of controversy on Twitter when he sent out a few messages directed at Dave Meltzer where he seemed to imply Meltzer was fed false information to throw off his reports.
If you’d like to hear more about what he actually said in his tweets you can check that out here. It turns out that Meltzer had a rather interesting opinion of things as well because he saw it as a compliment to receive this kind of rant from the former WWE Champion.
SmackDown Live hasn’t been the same since JBL was on the announce desk. His wit and observations are one of a kind, but apparently, a couple of those tweets might have been too hot for his Twitter feed. Because it appears as though two of those tweets concerning the Wrestling Observer Newsletter writer have been deleted from his feed.
Fortunately, we have a screenshot of JBL’s Twitter feed when he put out those tweets. If you compare it to what his feed looks like now, it certainly appears that he did some editing. Upon further investigation, it looks like any reply to those tweets appears to be responding to a tweet which is no longer available as well.
