A brief note on Randy Orton…
As noted earlier this week, Orton has been dealing with some neck issues but they are not bad enough to keep him out of the ring. We haven’t seen much of him on TV lately but he was on live events last weekend.
Dave Meltzer reported this week that Orton has been dealing with a sore and stiff neck. Several years ago, doctors told him that he would need neck surgery and it would have kept him out of the ring for a year.
However, Orton got a second opinion from another doctor who said that he didn’t need to get the surgery.
I was told that Orton will be back on TV soon, possibly this Tuesday on SmackDown Live to kick off the hype for SummerSlam.
