Former WWE Raw Women’s Champion Becky Lynch is on her way back to WWE.
Lynch, who has been out of action since last April, gave birth last month and, as noted by Dave Meltzer on Wrestling Observer Radio, is expected back soon but probably not tonight at the Royal Rumble.
Meltzer said, “She’s on her way back, but I was told not [the Royal Rumble], but who knows?”
WrestlingNews.co first reported back in October about Lynch returning for WrestleMania season. A WWE source told us in October that “Vince is hoping for Becky to be back in January or February to start the one on one feud with Ronda.”
At the time, we were told about plans for Lynch to face Ronda Rousey but there hasn’t been any recent talk about Rousey at Mania this year so Rousey’s return to the ring might happen this year. There have been no hints on social media on when Lynch will return to action.
