Top AEW star is not scheduled to wrestle at All Out

It turns out that Hangman Adam Page won’t be getting a shot at Kenny Omega’s World Heavyweight Title and won’t be working another match at AEW’s next PPV event, All Out.

On Friday, it was reported that Page vs. Omega wouldn’t be happening at the All Out pay-per-view. Dave Meltzer noted during today’s Wrestling Observer Radio that Page is no longer scheduled to wrestle at the show.

This comes after this week’s episode of Dynamite where Page’s team fell short against Omega’s team with the stipulation that if the babyfaces went over then Page would get a title shot at Omega while The Dark Order would get a shot at the tag team titles.  Page vs. Omega was the plan but plans changed to have the 10-man tag match shock people.

Meltzer stated, “Yeah, not on the show. And yeah, I don’t know who Omega is wrestling. Obviously from the TV, it looks like Christian. That’s just the situation.”

AEW has been teasing that Christian Cage will be getting a title shot soon. With just a month away from All Out, AEW will start announcing matches for the card.
