Sammy Guevara defeated Dustin Rhodes to win the interim TNT Championship at Battle of the Belts. Dustin replaced Cody because of COVID-protocols forcing Cody to pull out of the match.
The match started slow and they went just over 15 minutes. The pace picked up with several near falls. Just before the finish, Dustin Rhodes executed a Canadian Destroyer that put Guevara through a table that was set up earlier at ringside by Fuego Del Sol.
Guevara won the match after a series of roll ups. David Crockett went to the ring to present the title and then Daniel Garcia ran in to attack Guevara as the referees ran in to break them up.
Guevara will face TNT Champion Cody Rhodes at some point to unify both titles.
