Seth Rollins had to be restrained by WWE staff when CM Punk walked out at Survivor Series

By now the entire wrestling world knows that CM Punk is back in WWE. The company had him come out at the very end of the show after the Men’s WarGames match. Punk did not interact with anyone and the show faded to black after his music played for about a minute.

During the post-show press conference, Triple H said that this was put together very late and while fans were speculating, there was no deal with Punk and that the deal came together after the speculation died down. Sean Ross Sapp reported on X that Punk told someone that he spoke with Triple H for about an hour last week and Punk walked into the backstage area just before he walked out to the arena and basically, almost everyone in the company had no idea that he would be showing up.

Off camera, Seth Rollins had to be restrained by security as Punk was out by the stage area. Rollins has been vocal in the past about not wanting Punk back in WWE as they apparently have bad history with each other. While their history is real, this is still pro wrestling and if there’s money to be made, you can always turn that into an angle and that may be what is happening here. Check out the video below of Rollins being restrained by WWE staff.
