Pat McAfee made a surprise return to help announce The Royal Rumble
Men’s WWE Royal Rumble Match
The first two entrants to start the Royal Rumble were Gunther and Sheamus who immediately started brawling. Johnny Gargano returned from his shoulder injury as the fifth entrant. He went after Miz, renewing his feud before his injury. The Miz received the Beats of the Bodran by Sheamus followed by a superkick by Gargano. Sheamus clotheslined The Miz out of the ring to eliminate him. Woods and Kingston teamed up for some moves before thinking about going against each other. McIntyre went after everybody upon his arrival and eliminated Kross. Gunther threw Kofi over the top rope, but one of his feet landed on the chair outside the ring. Michael Cole questioned if Kofi was eliminated or not. Brock Lesnar entered at number 12 to a huge reaction. Sheamus and McIntyre tried to double team Lesnar, but they were greeted with suplexes. Lesnar proceeded to suplex Escobar over the top rope. Lesnar eliminated Dawkins with a clothesline as well as throwing Gable over the top rope. Lesnar suplexed McIntyre and gave one to Sheamus that landed Sheamus on his neck. The crowd exploded at the staredown between Gunther and Lesnar. Lashley immediately speared Lesnar. Lashley speared McIntyre and Sheamus and followed it up with a clothesline that eliminated Lesnar. Lesnar threw the ring steps on the announce table and speared Corbin and gave him an F5 before he could get in the ring. Seth Rollins came down at number 15 and threw Corbin in the ring, and then threw him out to eliminate him. Rey Mysterio was number 17, but he did not come out. Rollins eliminated Lashley. Dominik Mysterio entered at #18 with Rey’s mask on, but then took it off and tried to rip it up. Elias hit Gunther with his guitar. Sheamus and McIntyre gave Elias a double Claymore and threw him over the top rope. Booker T was the surprise entrant at number 21. Booker gave the Book End to Balor. The crowd cheered wildly as Booker T did his spinaroonie, but Gunther eliminated him immediately afterwards. Damian Priest entered at 22. All three members of Judment Day went to work on the everybody in the ring. Priest chokeslammed Montez Ford over the top rope. Edge returned at number 24. Edge immediately went after Judgment Day by spearing Priest, Balor, and Dominik. Edge then threw Priest and Balor over the top rope. Edge and Rollins had a staredown. Dominik hit Edge from behind. Edge went to throw Dominik over the top rope, but Priest and Balor got on the ring apron, grabbed Edge, and threw him out. Edge continued to battle with Priest and Balor outside the ring as Austin Theory tried to make his way to the ring. Rhea Ripley then attacked Edge, but Beth Phoenix showed up and speared her. Strowman clotheslined Omos over the top rope. Gunther dumped both Sheamus and McIntyre. Logan Paul made a surprise appearance at number 29 to a round of boos. The remaining participants all ganged up on him but managed to escape. Cody entered at number 30. He gave the Cross Rhodes to Dominik and threw him over the top rope. Logan Paul and Ricochet were both on opposite sides of the ring and came flying off the top rope at each other in the center of the ring to an enormous collision. Cody eliminated Strowman. Theory clotheslined Ricochet over the top rope. Rollins gave Theory the Curb Stomp and Cody eliminated Theory. Rollins and Cody double teamed Gunther before going after each other. Logan Paul finally got back in the ring and eliminated and eliminated Rollins. Cody threw Logan Paul over the top rope. It came down to Gunther and Cody. Gunther gave Cody hard chops on his chest. Cody hit the Cody Cutter on Gunther. Cody gave Gunther the Shattered Dreams. He later hit the Cross Rhodes on Gunther and clotheslined him over the top rope to win the Royal Rumble.

Mountain Dew Pitch Black Match
Bray Wyatt vs. LA Knight
The lights were darkened and the ring ropes glowed in the dark as did Knights trunks and kneepads. Wyatt was standing on the announce table, but Knight came flying from the barricade on Wyatt breaking the desk. Knight hit Wyatt with a glow in the dark kendo stick. Wyatt hit Knight with the Sister Abigail for the pin. After the match, Wyatt’s face mask turned a different color. Knight hit Wyatt repeatedly with the kendo stick as they walked up the side aisle to no effect as Wyatt kept charging at him. Wyatt got the Mandible Claw on Knight. Afterwards, Uncle Howdy jumped from he top of a ledge on to Knight which caused an explosion and a fire.
WWE Raw Women’s Championship
Bianca Belair vs. Alexa Bliss
They started the match brawling with each other. Bliss went for the Sister Abigail, but Belair avoided it and gave Bliss the KOD for the pin. A video then appeared on the wall of the evil Alexa Bliss.
Women’s WWE Royal Rumble Match
The Royal Rumble started with Rhea Ripley and Liv Morgan. Ripley eliminated B-Fab in 36 seconds. The NXT Women’s Champion Roxanne Perez entered at number 8. Damage Control teamed up to eliminate Dana Brooke, Emma, and Perez. Natalya at #11 returned from her broken nose at the hands of Shayna Baszler. Damage Control eliminated both Baszler and Natalya were fighting amongst themselves. NXT’s Zoey Stark entered at number 13. Damage Control continues to dominate as they eliminate Candice LeRae. Becky Lynch entered at number 14 and went right after Bayley. Damage Control ganged up on Lynch outside the ring and threw her into the barricade and across the announce table. Asuka came in at number 17. Piper Niven, no longer being called Doudrop, returned after some time away. Lynch finally recovered from the beating from Damage Control and got back in the ring. Chelsea Green made her return to WWE at number 20. Green got in the ring and Ripley immediately threw her over the top rope. Lynch threw out Dakota Kai and IYO SKY, but then Bayley eliminated Lynch. Morgan tossed Bayley over the top rope. Damage Control and Lynch continued to brawl outside the ring. Raquel Rodriguez came in at number 22 and overpowered everybody. Michelle McCool, who was sitting ringside, was entrant number 25. McCool eliminated Tamina. Indi Hartwell from NXT entered at number 26. Nikki Cross entered at number 29 and punched everybody. Nia Jax returned to WWE at number 30 and the remaining participants circled around her and then attacked her. Jax exploded out of it and it sent everybody flying. Nobody could stop Jax until Ripley hit the Rip Tide on her. Everybody teamed up to toss Jax over the top rope. Raquel eliminated Evans. Asuka eliminated Deville. Ripley eliminated McCool. Michin eliminated Shotzi. Niven eliminated Shotzi. Raquel eliminated Niven. Ripley eliminated Raquel. Morgan eliminated Cross. Asuka blew the mist in Morgan’s eyes. Ripley eliminated Asuka and then Morgan to win the Royal Rumble.

Undisputed WWE Universal Championship
Roman Reigns vs. Kevin Owens
Owens went for a twisting splash off the top rope but botched it. He then went for a moonsault off the top rope, but Reigns moved out of the way. Reigns speared Owens, but only got a two count. Reigns went for a spear, but Owens caught him and tried a stunner, but Reigns pushed Owens off and Owens collided with the referee who went down. Owens caught Reins with the pop-up powerbomb, but the referee was still knocked out. Reigns caught Owens with a low blow. Reigns yelled at Sami Zayn to get a chair. Zayn found one but hesitated in giving him it, but then did, but Owens hit Reigns with the stunner. The referee recovered and made a two count. Owens went for another pop-up powerbomb, but Reigns hit him with the Superman punch while in the air. He then hit Owens with a spear, but again only got a two count. Owens rolled out of the ring near Zayn. Zayn told Owens to just stay down. Reigns came out of the ring and speared Owens through the barricade. Owens rolled out of the ring. Reigns again came out and threw Owens’ head against the ringside steps twice. He rolled Owens in the ring. Reigns gave Owens another spear and pinned him. The Usos and Solo Sikoa came in the ring and Jey Uso was going to put the lay on Zayn. Reigns stopped him and said ordered The Usos to beat on Owens. The Usos gave Owens the 1-D. The Usos put Owens in the corner and wrapped a chair around his neck. Sikoa gave Owens a butt splash in the corner. Heyman then took handcuffs out of his pockets to give to Reigns. Reigns gave them to The Usos who handcuffed Owens to the ring rope. The Usos took turns superkicking him. The crowd chanted for Sami who looked confused as to what to do. Reigns was ready to swing the chair at Owens when Sami told Reigns to stop. Sami told him that he doesn’t need to do this. He’s the Tribal Chief, the Universal Champion, and he’s done. Reigns handed the chair to Sami and Sami said he doesn’t want this. Reigns handed the chair to Sami and said Owens doesn’t care about him. Reigns hit Sami in the face three times and told him to hit Owens, but Sami said he won’t. Reigns turned his back and Sami hit Owens in the back with the chair. Jimmy Uso then superkicked Sami and started pounding on him. Sikoa then gave him the spike. Sikoa and Jimmy were beating on Sami while Jey Uso stood in the corner and looked torn as to what to do. The crowd started chanting for Jey. Reigns and Sikoa then noticed Jey not joining in. Jey ducked out of the ring and left. Reigns then hit Sami repeatedly with the chair and ripped his shirt off him. He then took the lay and broke it off piece by piece and dropped it on Sami.
