As first reported here on WrestlingNews.co, Tony D’Angelo was injured during a match with Wes Lee during the NXT tapings on Wednesday night.
WrestlingNews.co was initially told that it was a head injury but it was later confirmed to be an injury to his knee and the match had to be stopped.
WWE has not commented on the injury and the only update, per the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, is that it’s a real injury and it is not known yet how serious it is.
