WWE Is Still Working To Maintain An Internal Clock For Raw On Netflix’s Runtime

WWE’s massive deal to bring Monday Night Raw to Netflix has been a big hit. There has been a lot of talk about the runtime of Raw, as initial reports suggested a return to the familiar three-hour broadcast. Some speculation is that it could be a little shorter than three hours.

The premiere episode was a little over three hours, while this week’s show was two and a half hours. Triple H has said they will be flexible with the show depending on the week and thinks two and a half hours is the sweet spot for a show.

Raw no longer has the hard out like they do on television. PWInsider.com pointed out that despite the shorter runtime, they held several dark matches for the live crowd. WWE wanted the show to be over “early enough on West Coast time to allow whatever talents and staff scheduled to take red-eye flights home the ability to do so.”

It was added that “Netflix allows flexibility, but the company is still going to maintain their usual structure and timing” in addition to “work towards maintaining their internal clock where they want the show to end.” The following bouts were confirmed for next week’s show:
