MJF: ‘I’m Going To Be That Fourth Head’ On Wrestlers-Turned-Actors Mount Rushmore

MJF has shared his ultimate Hollywood goal, telling The Hollywood Reporter that he plans to become the fourth face on the Mount Rushmore of wrestlers-turned-actors alongside The Rock, John Cena, and Dave Bautista.

MJF was asked about his ultimate Hollywood ambition during his broader Double or Nothing media tour. MJF has been building his Hollywood profile over the past two years, with starring roles in The Iron Claw (2023) as Lance Von Erich and Happy Gilmore 2 (2024).

“Mount Rushmore has four heads, and when you look at the Mount Rushmore of wrestlers-turned-actors, it’s Dave Bautista, John Cena and The Rock. There’s a missing part of that Mount Rushmore. It’s not because I’m manifesting it or anything, it’s just a fact, I’m going to be that fourth head.”

He confirmed the next major film project on his schedule.

“We’ve got Violent Night 2 coming out in theaters. It’s a Universal picture that I was a part of, that’s happening in early December. There are a lot of things I got cooking that legally I’m not allowed to say yet, I’m not at liberty to say yet.”

The Violent Night 2 project is the sequel to the 2022 action black comedy where David Harbour played a bitter and jaded Santa Claus. Harbour is reprising the role in the sequel, with the December 2026 release date putting the film in the prime holiday theatrical window.

MJF also addressed the Street Fighter live-action adaptation that features Roman Reigns and Cody Rhodes. Reigns plays Akuma and Rhodes plays Guile in the film. MJF was diplomatic about the WWE-side cross-pollination into Hollywood.

He hopes the “movie does well,” adding that he hopes both WWE stars “do great.”
