AAA has published the official cards for both nights of Triplemania 34, the first two-night, two-country edition of the promotion’s biggest show. Night 1 is Friday, September 11 at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas. Night 2 is Sunday, September 13 at Arena CDMX in Mexico City.
The Las Vegas show was originally booked for the Luxor. WWE announced the move to the MGM Grand Garden Arena on July 30, citing demand for the event. Tickets are on sale through AXS for Las Vegas and Superboletos for Mexico City. Both nights stream live on YouTube worldwide, with Fox carrying the shows in Mexico and Latin America. The event is sponsored by Gears of War: E-Day, which Xbox releases on October 6.
Night 1 in Las Vegas is headlined by Rey Mysterio against Omos. The match was set up at AAA Ola de Calor on August 30, when Dominik Mysterio refused to sign his Mega Championship contract unless Omos, suspended for putting his hands on Rey, was reinstated. Rey, acting as general manager, booked the match with stakes attached: if Omos wins, his suspension is lifted, and if Rey wins, Omos is out of AAA. El Grande Americano is in Rey’s corner, with Dominik and Dorian Roldan in Omos’s.
The rest of the Las Vegas card, as published by AAA: Psycho Circus defends the AAA World Trios Championship against Los Perros del Mal; La Parka defends the AAA Latin American Championship in a triple threat against Mr. Iguana and Laredo Kid; Roxanne Perez, Faby Apache, Nattie and La Hiedra meet in a four-way to determine the next Reina de Reinas challenger, with the title match expected at Worlds Collide in Chicago on September 26; and a four-way elimination tag pitting the LWO against Los Americanos, the Tokyo Bad Boys and Fraxiom.
Night 2 in Mexico City has Dominik Mysterio defending the AAA Mega Championship against El Grande Americano, who earned the shot by winning Rey de Reyes. Flammer defends the Reina de Reinas Championship against La Catalina. Rey Fenix defends the AAA World Cruiserweight Championship in a four-way against Mini Vikingo, Jack Cartwheel and Nathan Frazer. Psycho Clown faces El Carnicero in a Mexican street fight. The Copa Bardahl multi-man match returns, and the War Raiders have issued an open challenge for the AAA World Tag Team Championship.
El Hijo del Vikingo will miss both nights. He tore his ACL and had surgery on July 7, with a return expected around April 2027.
Ola de Calor, held August 30 at Bert Ogden Arena in Edinburg, Texas, set up several of the matches. Full results:
Mr. Iguana, Mascarita Sagrada, Noisy Boy and Axiom defeated Lince Dorado, Cruz Del Toro, Joaquin Wilde and Mini Abismo Negro in an eight-man tag.
La Catalina won a gauntlet to become the number one contender to the Reina de Reinas Championship, beating Thea Hail and La Hiedra after Hail eliminated Lady Shani.
The War Raiders retained the AAA World Tag Team Championship over Los Americanos.
El Carnicero vs. Chris Carter ended in a no contest when Carnicero refused to stop the beating. Psycho Clown attacked him with a kendo stick and challenged him to a street fight at Triplemania.
Mini Vikingo, Nathan Frazer and Jack Cartwheel wrestled to a 20-minute time-limit draw in a Cruiserweight number one contender’s match, after which Rey Fenix said he would defend against all three.
La Parka won the vacant AAA Latin American Championship in a four-way over Damian Priest, El Fiscal and El Hijo de Dr. Wagner Jr.
Penta, Rey Fenix and Dragon Lee defeated Daga, Angel and Berto of Los Perros del Mal in the main event.
The show also aired a CM Punk vignette for Worlds Collide, and the Mega Championship contract signing between Dominik and Americano ended with the Rey vs. Omos announcement.
On the Saturday, September 5 go-home edition of AAA on Fox, La Parka, El Fiscal and Mr. Iguana beat Los Vipers and Dinamico, and La Catalina beat Adelicious with Flammer watching at ringside. The La Parka triple threat and the War Raiders open challenge were added after that show.
WWE surrounds the weekend with a full Mexico run. SmackDown airs live from Arena CDMX on Friday, September 11, the same night as the Las Vegas show, and Raw follows from the same building on Monday, September 14. Live events in Guadalajara on September 9 and Monterrey on September 10 lead in.
