AEW has filed a new trademark for “Brawl in the Ballpark,” the company’s first-ever MLB crossover event scheduled for Friday, July 10 at Target Field in Minneapolis.
The filing with the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office under Serial Number 99834579 covers: “IC 041: Entertainment in the nature of wrestling contests; Entertainment services in the nature of live professional wrestling performances; Entertainment services in the nature of production of professional wrestling programs and events.”
The Minnesota Twins and AEW confirmed the partnership in a joint press release earlier in the week. Brawl in the Ballpark will take place after the Twins-Los Angeles Angels game on July 10, with the wrestling event scheduled to begin shortly after the 7:10 PM CT first pitch and run for approximately 75 minutes. The wrestling ring will be constructed inside Target Field’s Gate 34 area.
Admission to Brawl in the Ballpark is free with a ticket to that evening’s Twins vs Angels game, with tickets available at twins.com/tickets. Limited special ticket packages, including an exclusive Twins/AEW Lucha mask hat and VIP ringside access, are also available at twins.com/brawl.
Brawl in the Ballpark will feature stars from both AEW and Ring of Honor. The card itself has not been announced.
The July 10 booking is timed three weeks before SummerSlam 2026 in Minneapolis on August 1-2. Target Field is the home of the Minnesota Twins and seats approximately 38,544 fans for baseball games.
