Ludwig Kaiser Arrested On Battery Charge

WWE’s Ludwig Kaiser was arrested on a battery charge in Orange County, Florida on Tuesday, May 20, with Fightful Select confirming the arrest stemmed from a physical altercation with another male rather than a domestic situation.

Kaiser, real name Marcel Barthel, was processed at Orange County Corrections and bonded out on $1,000 bail. The Recently Booked website surfaced records of the arrest, with PWInsider subsequently confirming the bond release.

Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful Select addressed the social media speculation that briefly framed the arrest as a domestic battery situation.

“The arrest is accurate. We’re told the battery charge was against a male after an altercation. Not a domestic situation as some are speculating.”

This pushes back on speculation that the altercation might have involved Kaiser’s recent ex-partner Tiffany Stratton, who ended their relationship earlier this year. Stratton is now dating NXT wrestler Shido Ash. Kaiser is now dating AAA’s Andrea Bazarte.

No additional details about the altercation, the other party involved, or any potential further charges have been disclosed publicly as of writing. Battery charges in Florida can range from simple misdemeanors to felony-level depending on the severity and circumstances of the incident.
