“The Painmaker” Chris Jericho vs. Tommaso Ciampa in a No Holds Barred Match took place at the AEW Redemption pay-per-view event from the Bell Centre in Montreal, QC.
They started off the match with a battle of chair strikes before Ciampa got the upperhand. Ciampa set up a table and Jericho set off a fire extinguisher. Jericho hit Ciampa in the head with it. Ciampa with a piledriver off the apron and Ciampa’s foot slipped and they went crashing through a table. Ciampa put on a Boston Bruins jersey on and smashed the Canadians mascot toy. Jericho hit him in the back with a trash can. Ciampa ended up bleeding and Jericho pulled out a Bruins toy and had some fun. Ciampa did a staple spot to Jericho’s face. Ciampa got an elbow pad with a lot of tacks. Jericho went for the walls and got it. Ciampa got Jericho’s bat and hit him in the back then the head. Jericho stabbed Ciampa in the leg with something. Ciampa slammed Jericho off the top rope through a mirror. Jericho took a drill to the face of Ciampa and Ciampa gave up.
Winner: Jericho
