Women’s World Champion Thekla vs. Willow Nightingale took place at the AEW Redemption pay-per-view event from the Bell Centre in Montreal, QC.
Thekla got the early advantaged and targeted the stitched up ear of Willow. They went back and forth. Thelka had her in a facelock, but Willow got to the bottom rope. Thelka hit an outside dive to take out Willow. Willow went for a powerbomb, but Thelka got out. Sky Blue put thekla’s foot of Thekla on the rope in a near-fall winning spot. Willow hit Blue with a powerbomb. Back in the ring, Thelka hit her with a spear. Willow avoided a spear and Willow pinned Thelka with a roll up for the win.
Winner: Willow
