Rhino is expected to be part of AEW’s two nights in his hometown this week.
PWInsider has Rhino scheduled to appear when the promotion runs back to back shows at the Masonic Temple Theater in Detroit. Dynamite airs live on Wednesday, July 29, with a special Thursday night edition of Collision from the same venue on July 30. Neither the role nor the night has been specified.
It would not be his AEW debut. Rhino worked for the promotion during its Detroit run last year, losing to Nick Wayne on Dynamite in May 2025 and appearing in matches taped for Ring of Honor.
He has also been part of the television launch of Maple Leaf Pro Wrestling’s Mayhem series, the Scott D’Amore promotion that airs on TSN in Canada and on MyAEW elsewhere. Rhino beat Gama Singh Jr. on the debut episode.
Rhino has been doing local media in Detroit through the week to promote the shows.
