Maven has apologized to Enzo Amore and to fans for the timing of an Enzo interview released days after the death of AEW star PAC, in which Enzo took a shot at AEW’s locker room.
In the interview on Maven Huffman’s YouTube channel, Enzo talked about locker room issues and singled out AEW.
“F*ck AEW for all the p*ssy a** fighting that they do over there and letting it leak and sh*t. We are some badasses that you got to keep some credibility in that locker room.”
The video came out shortly after AEW announced the death of Benjamin Satterley, known to fans as PAC, at age 40, and after the PAC tribute edition of Dynamite. Enzo worked with Satterley in WWE, where he wrestled as Neville, and beat him for the Cruiserweight Championship at No Mercy in 2017.
Enzo responded on X on Monday, saying the interview was recorded more than a year and a half ago.
“I talked to Maven in March of 2025. He waited to come off the heels of a beautiful tribute show for PAC to post the interview. I thought the tribute show was absolute class. Everyone who paid tribute, thank you for honoring Ben. I’m still grieving, Maven is clearly not.”

Maven addressed it in a statement posted to his YouTube channel. He said Enzo had asked for part of the interview to be cut, which left it unreleased for a long time, and that the version that went up does not include that portion.
“Hey guys, I wanted to address the Enzo Amore video. First, we want to apologize to Enzo and any fans who were upset or hurt by the timing of our latest upload. Nothing malicious was intended, but looking back, we fully understand why the timing bothered some people. Moving forward, we’ll make sure we’re more mindful about our content and when we release it.
Enzo recorded with us back in 2025, but there was a portion of the interview he later asked us not to release. We honored that request, and because that was a significant part of the original video, the interview ended up sitting unreleased for quite a while. Over time, we heard from viewers who still wanted us to release what we could from the interview. Last Friday, our regular upload was much shorter than what we normally post, so we felt it was a good opportunity to give you guys a little extra and finally release that version.
“Just to be completely clear, the portion Enzo asked us to remove was removed. We honored that request, and it does not appear anywhere in the video. Again, our apologies. We’re learning from this, and we’ll do better and be more mindful going forward.”
The video was still up on Maven’s channel as of Thursday.
