There was an altercation between a fan and AEW stars during Rampage taping

Fans are one of the best things about pro wrestling, as seen without them during the COVID-19 pandemic as they can make a match better and make a wrestler get over. The fans are also close to the action, but sometimes they get too close.

During today’s Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer was recapping the Rampage spoilers for this Friday’s show that was taped at Wednesday’s Dynamite event.

During the show, Meltzer noted that Stokely Hathaway and Lee Moriarty were involved in an altercation with a fan.

“There was an altercation between Stokely & Lee and a fan as they were leaving, which I’m sure won’t be on TV.”

This isn’t the first time this has happened in AEW, as one fan tried to get into the ring to attack Chris Jericho last year. Luckily, the fan was taken away quickly.
