Amazing Red Confirmed To Return At TNA Slammiversary

TNA Wrestling has officially confirmed that Amazing Red will return at Slammiversary 2026. Red, a three-time X-Division Champion, will be part of the June 28 pay-per-view at Agganis Arena in Boston. It marks his first appearance with the company since 2011.

Red’s exact role has not been revealed, though there is a possible fit on the card. Slammiversary will feature the return of the Ultimate X match, with Cedric Alexander defending the X-Division Championship against Leon Slater, Frankie Kazarian, and three more competitors still to be announced. Red’s final TNA match back in 2011 came in an Ultimate X bout, making the gimmick match a natural landing spot for his return.

One of the company’s original X-Division innovators, Red helped shape junior heavyweight wrestling in TNA’s early years before building a long career on the independent scene. He went on to found the New York-based promotion House of Glory, where he still competes and operates the HOG wrestling school.

Slammiversary lands on a busy day for wrestling, sharing June 28 with AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door that night. TNA’s show airs in the afternoon, with the main card beginning at 4 p.m. ET after a 3 p.m. ET pre-show.
