Former WWE star to make his GFW debut next month

Former WWE Superstar John Hennigan, also known as John Morrison/Johnny Mundo, is scheduled to make his debut with Global Force Wrestling next month. He will be working the live events in the New York Tri-state area. This marks the first time that the former WWE Intercontinental Champion has wrestled under the GFW banner since he decided to leave WWE in 2011.

The promotion will be holding live events on August 4th in Long Island, August 5th in Staten Island and August 6th in Bridgeport, CT. Hennigan’s GFW debut was announced on Wednesday by Jeremy Borash during a company conference call.

It was also announced that Drago from AAA and Taya from Lucha Underground would be working the live events.
