Tuesday’s Impact Wrestling episode on AXS TV saw its viewership rebound.
The show did 148,000 viewers, up from last week’s 103,000 viewers. It did a 0.04 rating in the 18-49 demo, also up from a 0.01 rating in the 18-49 demo the show did the previous Tuesday.
It should be noted that Impact took off the last two weeks and had been airing best of content in the meantime. The ratings this week were around the same level as what they were doing before the two-week break. They will resume TV tapings in early January after it’s Hard to Kill PPV with additional new programming.
The promotion has received buzz ever since they revealed their public working relationship with AEW as they’ve had AEW World Heavyweight Champion Kenny Omega appear on their weekly show. He did so again on this week’s episode.
Omega and The Good Brothers will team up to take on Rich Swann and Motor City Machine Guns in a six-man tag team match at the Hard To Kill pay-per-view event on January 16th. Karl Anderson and Doc Gallows arrived in AEW during the closing segment of Wednesday’s Dynamite episode.
