TNA Wrestling appears to be on the verge of formalizing a developmental partnership with Ohio Valley Wrestling.
Mike Johnson of PWInsider reports that TNA and OVW are working toward an agreement that would see the Louisville-based promotion become, in essence, a developmental system for TNA. Per the report, the deal is set to be signed very soon.
There have already been signs of the two sides growing closer. TNA President Carlos Silva has reportedly been in attendance for a number of recent OVW events, and the long-running promotion just celebrated its 1,400th consecutive episode of television.
The arrangement would not be the first between the two companies. OVW served as TNA’s official developmental territory from 2011 to 2013 before a financial dispute ended the relationship, and the sides re-established a developmental agreement in 2019.
OVW is best known for its earlier run as WWE’s developmental territory from 1999 to 2008, a period that produced future headliners including John Cena, Batista, Brock Lesnar, Randy Orton, and Shelton Benjamin. Al Snow purchased the company in 2018, and in 2025 UK-based Morley Sports Management acquired a majority stake, with Snow continuing to oversee the OVW training academy and television production.
