The Anarchy in the Arena Match at the AEW Double or Nothing event from Las Vegas, Nevada, on Sunday night lived up to the hype as The Blackpool Combat Club (Bryan Danielson, Jon Moxley, Claudio Castagnoli, and Wheeler Yuta) beat The Elite (Kenny Omega, Young Bucks, and Hangman Page).
It was a wild match with various weapons used. Matt Jackson hit Moxley with an exploding superkick, only for Moxley to later send Matt barefoot into thumbtacks. Moxley connected Nick Jackson into thumbtacks with an RKO, only for Matt to later have tacks in his mouth and Claudio hit an uppercut.

In the latest edition of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Dave Meltzer reported that Matt came up with the idea a month ago and needed to get a special license.
Meltzer wrote, “Matt Jackson came up with the exploding superkick spot about a month ago. He wanted to do something that hadn’t been done and to do so he had to get a Nevada State Fire Performers license that other entertainment acts in Las Vegas using things like that as part of the show have to get.”
There were also several ideas for the match that were shut down by the venue.
