Edge vs. Dominik Mysterio is one of the matches already announced for tonight’s episode of WWE Raw. This will be Dominik’s first televised singles match since his bout against Veer Mahaan on the June 6th episode of Raw.
This bout comes after Dominik turned heel at the Clash at the Castle event earlier this month when he attacked his father, Rey Mysterio, and Edge.
Edge and Rey defeated Judgment Day (Damian Priest and Finn Balor) at the event when Dominik helped Rey and Edge by tripping Balor. Post-match, Dominik kicked Edge in the nuts. When Rey confronted him, the son of the legendary pro wrestler clotheslined him. Dominik has since formally joined Judgment Day.
PWInsider reports Dominik and Rey Mysterio were spotted in Asheville, North Carolina, last Friday, which is where Edge lives. It has been speculated that they were filming something for the ongoing storyline and could air on tonight’s Raw heading into the match.
WWE filmed Seth Rollins breaking into Edge’s home when they were feuding last year.
