Tonight’s episode of WWE SmackDown featured the 1000th day celebration for Roman Reigns as champion.
Triple H kicked off the final segment of the show by saying that Roman Reigns will be someone that future generations will look back on and someone that you will tell your grandkids about. They are doing everything to elevate Reigns above every champion that came before him. Michael Cole noted that Reigns will surpass Pedro Morales’ reign and the three ahead of him will be Bob Backlund, Hulk Hogan, and Bruno Sammartino.
