The Phenomenal One didn’t get much of a chance to state his opinion when Shane McMahon was adding people to the WWE Championship match at Fastlane but he was in the building and had a chance to perform in front of the Bakersfield California crowd.
After the show, AJ Styles defended his WWE Championship against Jinder Mahal. This crowd was very tired by the end of the night but they got a great reward for sticking out through all the television shows they saw filmed that evening.
Of course, AJ Styles retained his WWE Championship and the Bakersfield crowd home went home very happy. Thanks to Twitter user ClippsMcGee for the shot of AJ at the end of the night.
Other dark matches of the night included Mike Kanellis losing to Tye Dillinger and Becky and Naomi defeated Carmella and Natalya in a tag match. Both of those matches took place before the show kicked off.
