The finish for this year’s SummerSlam main event is a mystery. At this point, anyone claiming to know what will happen during the Universal Championship match is guessing because almost everyone in WWE is being kept in the dark on the plans for the match. According to the latest Wrestling Observer newsletter, the word going around within WWE is that none of the writers, producers and the wrestlers involved in the match know what the finish will be. Brock Lesnar would be the only exception because his contract stipulates that he must know everything well in advance.
Everyone else will be told the finish at the last minute so it will be interesting to see when the smart money comes in for the betting odds. The big selling point for this match is that Lesnar and Paul Heyman will leave WWE if Lesnar does not leave SummerSlam with the title. We have a good idea on what Lesnar’s future is with WWE but some might consider the news a spoiler so if you want to read more then click here.
