Tom Pestock has addressed the reports of his imminent WWE return, telling fans on X that he has eight European shows already booked.
Pestock, who wrestles as Bishop Dyer on the indies after his 2024 WWE release as Baron Corbin, addressed the wave of reports indicating he is signed or about to sign with WWE.
“I accepted 8 shows in Europe. My eye is still swollen from Australia. I also didn’t know i was done with some of these companies. Who ever is making my schedule needs to let me know this sh*t. I thought it was me but apparently it’s not.”
The “swollen eye from Australia” reference is to Pestock’s recent appearances with World Series Wrestling on the WSW Rise Against tour, where he wrestled Killer Kross to a no-contest on May 15. The Australian tour wrapped over the weekend.
The X post lands less than a day after Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful Select reported that industry sources believe Pestock is either signed by WWE or will be imminently. Dave Meltzer separately reported on Wrestling Observer Radio that the WWE return has been “heavily talked about.”
Had to correct my horrible grammar. I accepted 8 shows in Europe. My eye is still swollen from Australia. I also didn’t know i was done with some of these companies. Who ever is making my schedule needs to let me know this shit. I thought it was me but apparently it’s not. https://t.co/Z5wc3NOuL3
