WWE sent some of its main roster stars over to Europe for the traditional post-WrestleMania tour this past week. In the past, WWE would stay over there for two weeks and tape both Raw and SmackDown.
Coming out of the COVID-19 pandemic, that has changed as weekly television is no longer taped overseas.
In recent years, WWE has started to run PLE (premium live events) more often outside of the United States, whether that be in the UK last year for Clash at the Castle or this Saturday’s Backlash in Puerto Rico.
Bayley wants to see the company go to Paris for a PLE or TV event in the near future after wrapping up the recent tour.
Shane “Hurricane” Helms put over the crowd that attended the Paris live event when writing the following on Twitter:
“I’ve been blessed to be around this biz for 35 yrs now and this past week’s UK Tour with @WWE was one of the best tours I’ve ever been a part of. I’m so proud of this roster & crew. They were all fantastic! And Paris, France is now in the convo for best wrestling crowds ever.”
Bayley responded with her suggestion: “PLE or TV in Paris please.”
