The Bella Twins have confirmed that conversations around bringing Total Divas back to TV have been ongoing for years, with Nikki Bella telling the Battleground podcast that the timing is now right and the twins are immediately ready to come back if the call is made.
Nikki and Brie Bella were among the original cast members of Total Divas, the E! reality show that aired from 2013 to 2019 and featured both behind-the-scenes WWE locker room content and personal life content from the women’s roster. The Bellas spun off into their own series, Total Bellas, in 2016, and have both been vocal about wanting Total Divas to return ever since.
Speaking to the Battleground podcast, Nikki Bella opened up on the state of the conversations.
“We’ve had conversations about it for years, about bringing it back. We’ve always pushed hard for that because it really helped the women, not only showcase what they can do in and out of the ring, but it gave our voices such a big platform. I feel like now, with what the women are doing, it’s a perfect time for it to be back, and to showcase what these women are doing, how they’re delivering, and I want to know what some of them are doing inside and outside of the ring. If they were to call, we are back right now, so it might be a yes.”
The original Total Divas ran nine seasons on E! from 2013 to 2019 and is widely credited with raising the public profile of the entire WWE women’s division during the early stretch of the Women’s Evolution. The cast across various seasons included Nikki and Brie Bella, the Funkadactyls (Naomi and Cameron), Eva Marie, Natalya, JoJo, Summer Rae, Paige, Alicia Fox, Rosa Mendes, Mandy Rose, Sonya Deville, Maryse, Maria Kanellis, Lana, Carmella, Nia Jax, and Carmella.
Both have made appearances on WWE TV in 2025 and 2026 in non-wrestling capacities, with Brie holding the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship alongside Paige since WrestleMania 42. Nikki has been more focused on commentary, the Bella Pickleball Cup, and the twins’ Bonita Bella wine business.
A Total Divas reboot would fit inside WWE’s expanded reality TV portfolio under TKO, with WWE having recently signed deals with A&E and Netflix for documentary and reality content. A&E’s Biography Legends series, the WWE LFG developmental docuseries, and various other reality concepts have been part of the post-TKO content expansion.
The Bella Twins did not name a specific network or streaming partner in the Battleground conversation.
