The world lost Brian Pillman way too soon but he was able to entertain millions during his time on earth and was an innovative force in the ring. Now his son Brian Pillman Jr continues to carry his legacy and he’s doing a great job so far which would have made his father very proud.
Friday as March 16th, better known as 3:16 Day to wrestling fans. Before Brian Pillman and Steve Austin were WWE Superstars they were in a tag team together called the Hollywood Blondes in WCW. It turns out Pillman Jr still has his father’s entrance attire and he busted it out as a way to celebrate 3:16 Day.
Brian Pillman Jr asked Steve Austin’s approval to wear the iconic entrance attire of the Hollywood Blondes but he didn’t receive a public response. Pillman still carried on with his ode to Austin and it went very well.
Flyin Brian Jr said it got a huge reaction when he came out which only proves his father’s legacy lives on. It sounds like this was a pretty cool homage to a great tag team and was appreciated by everyone in attendance.
Hey @steveaustinBSR ! Would you mind if I wore this to the ring tonight in your honor? pic.twitter.com/si3o8NI2cf
