Brock Lesnar is not wrapping up his WWE run after this weekend’s Clash in Italy, with WrestleVotes Radio on Fightful Select reporting that The Beast is expected to appear again following the May 31 Premium Live Event.
Per the report, Lesnar is expected to continue his WWE run beyond Clash in Italy. However, as of now, he is not scheduled for WWE’s Madison Square Garden Saturday Night’s Main Event show.
Lesnar is in the midst of a storyline that began at WrestleMania 42. He was defeated by Oba Femi at the event and appeared to retire, leaving his gear in the ring and hugging Paul Heyman to signal the apparent end of his career. The moment was widely interpreted as a retirement gesture.
Lesnar then made a surprise return on the May 18th episode of Monday Night Raw, interrupting and attacking Femi. Heyman delivered a signed Clash in Italy contract to Adam Pearce, setting up the rematch. Lesnar will face Femi at Clash in Italy on May 31 in Turin, where he will attempt to secure redemption after his WrestleMania 42 loss.
Following Clash in Italy, Lesnar is heavily rumored to be booked for SummerSlam 2026, which is scheduled for August 1-2 in Minneapolis. That would put a Lesnar appearance in his home-state market.
Eric Bischoff framed the return as “clunky as hell” on 83 Weeks, saying he would have let Lesnar retire after WrestleMania 42. Jim Ross stated the return on Grilling JR as a contract-management decision. Kevin Nash on Kliq This said the return “made me sit the fuck up in my chair.” Cody Rhodes on ESPN’s Unsportsmanlike said he had assumed Lesnar was retired and picked Femi to win the rematch.
