A film based on Natalya Neidhart’s autobiography could be in the works, with WrestleVotes Radio on Fightful Select reporting that several Hollywood names have expressed strong interest in bringing the Hart family story to the big screen.
Per the report, there have been discussions about the project, with sources indicating that a top-tier, A-list production company is already looking to be involved. The framing positions the project as being in the early-interest stage rather than in active production, but with significant Hollywood attention.
The autobiography in question is The Last Hart Beating: From the Dungeon to WWE, Natalya’s memoir published in late 2025. The book detailed her life as a member of the legendary Hart wrestling family, her journey to becoming a WWE superstar, and her experiences navigating the industry’s challenges. The Simon & Schuster Canada book was released to positive reviews and is available in hardcover, ebook, and audiobook formats.
Natalya has expressed her interest in a film adaptation of her story. The book explores Natalya’s upbringing in the Hart family, including her father Jim “The Anvil” Neidhart and her famous uncles Bret and Owen Hart. The memoir addresses the impact of the Montreal Screwjob and Owen Hart’s death, two of the most significant events in wrestling history that are closely connected to the Hart family.
The book also discusses her father’s addiction and CTE, her family’s financial instability, and her husband TJ Wilson’s career-ending injury. Stu Hart’s Calgary-based Stampede Wrestling and the famous Hart Dungeon training facility produced multiple generations of wrestlers.
